Your week
- A week is 7 days, Monday to Sunday. Arrive on the Monday (or the Sunday before) and leave after Sunday. Everything happens at the BVA courts in Kerobokan
- Train as much as you like: every day has group classes, social games or open play on the schedule, most days 2 to 4 hours, and you join any of them
- Your private hours are in total for the week, not per day: 1 week has 2 private hours with your coach, booked at times you agree together
- Once a week, your coach reviews video of your own game from our court cameras and sends it to you with notes, or you swap it for an extra private hour
- Rest when you want: nothing is compulsory, and your coach helps you plan a sensible load

Included with every stay
- A named coach for your whole stay
- Level assessment and a written plan on arrival
- Private coaching hours with your coach: 2 per week in total, at times you agree together

- Join every group class, social game and weekly tournament during your stay, and play on the courts for free

Questions
Do I need to be a good player?
No. Your coach assesses your level on day one and builds your plan from there.
When can I start?
Any Monday, as long as the week has a place. The booking page shows the next free week.
Where do I stay?
We do not book accommodation. Our partner list has places near the academy.
What should I bring?
Sports clothes, a swimsuit, sunscreen and a water bottle. The Welcome Pack covers the rest.
What is the difference between a group class and a social game?
A group class is coached training: a coach runs drills for your level. A social game is match play: you are mixed into teams and play games, no drills. Training Week includes both.
Will I play with people at my level?
Group classes are split by level, and the schedule shows which is which. Your coach tells you which ones to join after your assessment on day one. Social games mix levels.
What are the hours each day?
See 'A real week at BVA' on this page: it is the actual schedule of classes and games. Most days have sessions in the morning and in the late afternoon or evening. Private hours are booked with your coach at times that suit you both.
Can I add more private hours?
Yes. Tick 'Extra private coaching hour' when you book, as many as you like, or ask your coach during your stay.
Where is it?
At the BVA courts in Kerobokan, Bali: three covered beach volleyball courts with the cafe and community space next to them.
Cancellation and refunds
- More than 30 days before arrival: full refund, less a Rp 500.000 booking fee.
- 30 to 14 days before arrival: 50% refund, or move your dates once for free within 12 months.
- Less than 14 days before arrival, or a no-show: no refund. You can move your dates once, within 6 months, for a Rp 1.000.000 change fee.
- Once your stay has started: no refund for days not used, and unused private hours and video reviews expire when your stay ends.
- If BVA has to cancel or cannot deliver your coaching: full refund, or new dates of your choice.
- Illness or injury with a doctor's note: we move your dates at no charge, within 12 months.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, within 14 days. Card fees are not refundable.
- Your stay is personal and cannot be transferred to someone else unless BVA agrees in writing.
- Accommodation, transport and trips booked through partners are between you and them. BVA takes no payment for them and cannot refund them.
