CANCELLING
Courts, coaching and classes can be cancelled free up to 4 hours before the start. Cancelled later than that, or not turning up, is charged in full and payable on your next visit. Moving a booking inside 4 hours counts as a cancellation.
BOOKING
You can book up to 14 days ahead. The shortest booking is one hour and the longest is three. Court time is priced per person, so there is no set number of players included and no extra person charge: everybody playing pays their own rate. Every player books their own place, in their own name; a membership or member price covers the person it belongs to, never somebody else. Invite your partners and they confirm their own spot.
ON THE SAND
Barefoot is normal. Shoes are not needed and nothing with a hard sole belongs on the courts. Children are welcome with an adult who stays responsible for them. Please bring no outside food or drink, the bar and cafe are there for that. Bins are at the side of every court.
FILMING
Our courts are filmed. Games are recorded and some are shown live. If you play here you will be on that footage.
GENERAL
BVA can refuse entry or ask somebody to leave. Tournaments and events take priority over ordinary court bookings, and we will tell you in advance if that affects a booking you have already made. Play at your own risk, and please do not play if you are unwell or injured.
These rules can change. The version shown when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
